Custom courses
Your material, built into a course people practise in.
A deck, an SOP or what one expert knows. We storyboard it with you and build it in your tool, with learner reporting from day one.
The problem with most courses
If people only read it, they won’t be able to do it.
So every course we build asks people to decide, try and get it wrong somewhere safe. Scroll on and watch one come together.
Your raw material in. A finished course out.
- 01 · You hand it over
A deck, an SOP, or one expert who knows it all. However messy.
- 02 · We storyboard it
You approve the flow before a single screen gets built.
- 03 · We build it
Decisions to make, things to drag, scores to chase.
- 04 · You see who did what
Who finished, who struggled, exactly where they dropped off.
- You bring
- The expertise your people already have, and the thing they keep getting wrong.
- You sign off
- A storyboard, before a single screen is built.
- You get
- Working modules: branching scenarios, simulations, gamified practice.
- It runs
- In your LMS, packaged as SCORM or xAPI. On a laptop or a phone.
- You track
- Completions, scores, and the exact screen people quit on.
- It's built in
- Storyline, Rise, Captivate or whichever tool your team already uses.
What we build
Whatever the material needs people to do.
Branching scenarios
A situation, a choice and a consequence. People learn what happens before it happens at work.
Simulations
A process or a piece of software, walked through step by step, with the learner doing each step.
Questions that teach
Every wrong answer explains itself, so a quiz becomes another chance to learn.
Short modules
Five-minute pieces people can finish between calls or shifts, and come back to.
Tools and standards
Built in the tool you already use.

Standards-based LMSs accept these packages, and they’re what give you completions, scores and drop-off points.
How a build runs
You approve the storyboard before a screen gets built.
- 01
Hand it over
A deck, an SOP, recorded calls or an hour with the one expert who knows it all. However messy.
- 02
Storyboard
We map what people need to be able to do and how each screen gets them there. You approve it before anything is built.
- 03
Build
In your authoring tool, with your branding. You review working modules, not mock-ups.
- 04
Launch and report
Packaged for your LMS. You see who finished and where people dropped off.
Who builds it
Built by the people who teach it.
The team that designs your course has run 6 programs since 2023 and measured every one. You work directly with the people designing it, not an account manager.

What is custom e-learning development?
Building an online course from your own material for your own people, instead of buying a generic one off the shelf. Ours start from what people need to be able to do, and turn your content into scenarios, simulations and practice.
Can you turn our PowerPoint or SOP into an e-learning course?
Yes. That's the usual starting point. We storyboard it with you first, then build it as interactive modules rather than slides with a next button.
Which authoring tools do you build in?
Whichever your team uses or prefers: Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, iSpring Suite, Lectora, Elucidat, Camtasia or H5P. If you don't have one, we'll recommend one for what you're building.
Will it work with our LMS?
Yes. We package courses as SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI or cmi5, which standards-based learning management systems accept. That's also what gives you completion and score reporting.
Have you built courses before?
Course design is part of every program we run. Our Excel, cybersecurity and placement programs were each built module by module, with hands-on practice and assessments, and the demo on this page shows how we turn a client's own material into a course.
How does a project start?
Send us the material and tell us who it's for. We reply with a proposed storyboard approach, a timeline and what it costs.
What should your course teach people to do?
Tell us what the material is and who it's for. We reply by email with a proposed approach, a timeline and what it costs.
